August, 2011 - Recording

This summer Yun-Yang Lee and I had the pleasure to make a special recording. This project was a cooperation proposed by a friend and supporter of the arts. Stepping away from the usual digital, heavily edited and crystal clear recordings, we instead opted to use an analog tape recording machine, with its warmer, more textured timbre. Furthermore, we recorded each movement in one single take. This approach presented its own challenges, but the final result is very satisfying. The recordings will be available through this website shortly!
